Petrol, CNG prices increased: OGRA
According to a notification issued by OGRA, the new price of petrol is Rs108.45 per litre.
Providing details on prices of other fuel products, the price of kerosene oil has been decreased by Rs3.05 per litre taking the new price to Rs101.63 per litre, while the price of High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) has been decreased by Rs6.06, taking the new price to Rs131.09 per litre.
The new price of high speed diesel is Rs113.30; while the price of light speed diesel is Rs97.17
According to OGRA, the price change will go in effect from September 24 at 12:00 am.

the international oil prices have fallen to around 7-8 % in the last week and the govt have increased the prices,again making a fool out of the people. the opposition parties, journalist,Channels, none do their research. Shame!!
The good news is that we can still afford it.

The loot culture is fully prevalent these days. For every Ruppee of petrol, the Federal govt nets taxes of 52 paisa. This means that from today onward the govt will be getting Rs 48.80 on every litre. This massive tax is not being spent on the improvement of road conditions or welfare of the public but is being plundered away through Pak Steel Mills, Pak Railways, PIA, NLC, EOBI and NICL so on and so forth..... To sprinkle salt on wounds MQM had left the govt in January 2011 on the pretext of "high oil prices" but soon rejoined and continued to stay in govt despite oil prices rising by another 35 to 40% in Pakistan.
Thanks God that prices of Petrol is increasing.
This will ultimately decrease the usage of cars and other vehicles.
I am going to buy a bicycle to use and not worried at all if the petrol price will shoot up by 1000%.
I will also suggest to learn the Chinese way of travelling. The bicycle riders only needs masks to avod inhale the pollution.
