Find out how these lovely ladies rocked the high-top sneaker trend

News Desk August 24, 2016

With their sporty roots, high-top sneakers are traditionally reserved for the gym. But now, thanks to the sartorial skills of Hollywood A-listers Olivia Palermo, Olivia Wilde and Kaia Gerber, the funky footwear is now being seen in a whole new light.

Whether you’re running errands over the weekend or headed out for a fun night with friends, these kicks are the perfect finishing touch. As compiled from InStyle, find out how these lovely ladies rocked the high-top sneaker trend.

Olivia Palermo

Everyone’s favorite style icon opted for a more sophisticated appearance, wearing two-toned leather high-tops that mingled perfectly with her liquid leggings and menswear coat. We love how this diva matched her crimson scarf with a cross-body bag. With her hair done in an up do and minimal make up that highlighted her dimples, The City starlet totally trumped the look.

Olivia Wilde

The American actor coupled her stark white high-tops with a color blocked skirt for a mod-meets-feminine look. She looked smart and neat, in a tucked in, casual white t-shirt and black leather jacket. With her wavy tresses falling over one shoulder and eyeliner on fleek, Wilde was surely dressed to impress.

Kaia Gerber

Take advice from supermodel Cindy Crawford’s extremely stylish daughter by pairing a dress with high-tops for a fun, sporty look. The budding model sported a black and grey figure-hugging outfit that accentuated her curves and highlighted her toned, tan body. The 14-year-old Kaia accessorised with silver mid-rings and a watch, showing us she already knows how to look picture perfect.
