Development work: CBC starts carpeting roads

KARACHI: The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has started carpeting and carrying out patchwork of various main roads, service roads and streets, according to a press release issued by the CBC. The press release said that maintenance work is in progress and the CBC aims to complete the task on time, as directed by the CBC executive officer Shahrome Safdar Khattak. The officer has deputed senior officials of the board to monitor the ongoing work. The statement also said that the CBC hopes to complete the carpeting and patchwork of Chaudhry Khaliquz Zaman Road soon to facilitate the residents and to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
