Fake Robbery: Man arrested for killing his sister

FAISALABAD: Police arrested on Friday a man for killing his sister. A police spokesman told The Express Tribune Muhammad Saif, a resident of Saifabad, had called the police helpline and said that some unidentified men had broken into his house, stolen valuables and killed his sister on putting up resistance/ He said City Police Officer Afzaal Kausar, Operations SSP Irfanullah Khan, Madina Town SP Malik Jameel Zafar had visited the house and cordoned off the area.  He said after an inspection of the crime scene, Zafar had suspected that the robbery had been staged.  The spokesman said Saif had then been taken into custody for interrogation.  He said the man had later confessed to killing his sister.
