Road safety: Drive started to promote helmet use

He said action had been taken against 2,273 people caught riding motorbikes without a helmet this year

LAHORE: Motorway Police Central Zone have started a drive to promote use of helmets by motorcyclists. Addressing the launch ceremony, National Highways and Motorway Police DIG Faran Baig said that under the campaign awareness raising sessions would be held for motorcyclists. He said action had been taken against 2,273 people caught riding motorbikes without a helmet this year.
