Formalities: Godil’s medical report sent to health department

The medico legal report of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader MNA Rashid Godil has been completed and sent to the health department.


The report was completed by a senior medical legal officer of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Dr Kaleem. Godil was attacked by unknown assailants on August 18, while the examination for the report was conducted on September 11.

The report states that there were five bullets injuries on Godil’s body but there were six wounds. One bullet hit the right side of his neck and exited from his chin. The second bullet also hit his neck near the first bullet’s entry point. The third and fourth bullet wounds are on both sides of his back. The fifth bullet also hit his back but there were no exit wounds, as in the two other bullet wounds on his back.
