Armed robbers hold family hostage at gunpoint: caught on CCTV cameras

Armed robbers looted more than Rs4.3 million in cash and gold ornaments after holding a family hostage during a house robbery in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, police said on Thursday, adding that the brazen incident was also caught on CCTV cameras.
As per details, the robbery took place two days ago at a bungalow in Block 16 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where the armed robbers held the family hostage and locked them inside a room before fleeing with cash exceeding Rs4.3 million, gold chains and lockets.
A case has been registered at the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station, while CCTV footage of the suspects has also emerged. The footage shows a silver-coloured car with tinted windows stopping in a street. One suspect steps out and checks the gate of a house; finding it locked, he moves to another bungalow.
Three robbers are then seen entering the house, while their fourth accomplice remains inside the car. After some time, the three suspects come out carrying a filled shopping bag. The robbers had covered their faces with masks to conceal their identities. After the incident, all four suspects fled in the same vehicle.
Police have launched a search operation with the help of CCTV footage, however, no arrests have been made even after two days.
