Nabbed: Runaway boy arrested from airport

Police said the boy had entered Shaikh Zayed international Airport by jumping over a fence

A boy who sneaked into Rahim Yar Khan Airport after running away from home was handed over to police on Monday.


A B-Division police spokesman said the 16-year-old had told police that he was a resident of Javed Colony. “He said he had failed class 9 examinations. He said his father had scolded him about it. He said he had later left home,” the spokesman said.

Police said the boy had entered Shaikh Zayed international Airport by jumping over a fence. He said an airport security team had caught and detained him.The spokesman said he was carrying a bag filled with candles, small knives, a rod, cutters and gloves. Police said a team had been formed to investigate the case.
