Targeted: Drug inspector comes under fire

Two masked motorcyclists opened fire on his car before fleeing the scene

WAH CANTT: Unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on a drug inspector near Margalla police check post, however, he remained unhurt.

The drug inspector, identified as Malik Arshad, lodged a complaint with the Taxila-Wah Cantt police that he had been receiving threats after he launched crackdown on quacks, unlicenced medical stores and fake chemists. According to Arshad, a resident of Islamabad, two masked motorcyclists opened fire on his car before fleeing the scene.
