Social welfare: Data on visually-challenged people sought
Social Welfare Minister Haroon Sultan Bukhari sought daily reports from the DOs on progress in compilation of the data
Social Welfare Minister Haroon Sultan Bukhari on Saturday directed district officers to compile data on visually-challenged people in their areas and submit a report to his office in three weeks.
He was speaking at a meeting to review departmental affairs. He also sought daily reports from the DOs on progress in compilation of the data. He said registration of visually-challenged people would help in preparing better informed policies.
