Public transport : Metro passengers inconvenienced

Chaudhary Shahbaz said the agency was not responsible for maintenance of Metro Bus terminals

Commuters travelling by the Metro Bus Service faced inconvenience several underground bus terminals were affected by rain water. Drainage of water at stations serving Qurtaba Chowk, Muslim Town and Kalma Chowk had not been completed till 8pm.


WASA Vice Chairman Chaudhary Shahbaz said the agency was not responsible for maintenance of Metro Bus terminals. Metro Bus Authority chairman Sibtain Fazle Haleem was not available for comment.
