LAHORE: The Punjab government will continue its indiscriminate crackdown against the abettors and financiers of terrorists, the province’s apex committee resolved on Thursday. The action will persist until each and every terrorist is eliminated, the panel vowed.

“Terrorists and their facilitators will find no place to hide,” Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who chaired the meeting of the committee, said.

Participants of the meeting agreed to expedite further the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) against terrorism and expressed satisfaction over the measures taken so far in Punjab to eliminate the menace.

They also decided to impose a complete ban on the collection of Zakat and Fitra by proscribed outfits in the province.
