Bad Cops : CPO directed to lodge FIR

RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge Irfan Anjum on Tuesday directed the city police officer to register an FIR against the Women’s police station SHO and seven lady constables for abusing a mother and a daughter. Shahjehan Begum and Rehana informed the judge that they had gone to the police station to register a complaint when they were attacked by the SHO and the constables. The complainants said they were physically abused, dragged across the station and kept in lockup without any charges for six hours.
