HYDERABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah said that the devolution process of ministries from the federation to the provinces would be completed by June 30.

“Some differences exist between the federal government and the provinces, however, they would be resolved soon,” he said while talking to the media at the residence of Pakistan Peoples Party MNA Syed Ameer Ali Shah Jamote in Hyderabad. Fisheries minister Zahid Bhurgri was present.

“Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has the right to talk about a long march and oppose the RGST, however, the Sindh government has an understanding with the MQM and if it has any complaint against the federal government, the federal government should address it,” he said.

To a question, Shah said that certain clauses of the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award are linked to the RGST and when the issue would be resolved, the NFC issue would automatically stand resolved.
