KARACHI:

A tragic incident occurred in the Garden West area near Hassan Lashkari, where a man shot and injured his wife before taking his own life by shooting himself in the head.

According to police, the incident took place in a flat near Faqeeri Mosque in Latif Tower, Hassan Lashkari Village. Upon hearing gunfire, nearby residents rushed to the scene and informed the police. Law enforcement officials, along with the Crime Scene Unit, arrived promptly and collected evidence.

The deceased man and the injured woman were shifted to the Civil Hospital where the deceased was identified as 35-year-old Suleman, son of Bilal, while the injured woman was identified as 32-year-old Parwa Shah.

Initial investigations suggest that the incident occurred due to a domestic dispute. Suleman allegedly shot his wife three times and, after seeing her critically injured, turned the gun on himself and ended his own life.

According to police, Suleman was a father of three and worked in a rent-a-car business. He had been married twice. From his first marriage, he had one son and one daughter, and from his second marriage, one son.

Sources close to the family stated that Suleman had ongoing conflicts with his wife, reportedly due to suspicion, and the couple had frequent arguments, especially over the past week.

It was further revealed that Suleman had already divorced his first wife and had also divorced his second wife six days prior to the incident, but allegedly continued to keep her with him.
