Security measures: CADD approves release of funds

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division, Barrister Usman Ibrahim approved the release of Rs180 million to Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad on Thursday. These funds will be utilised for defined perimeters for educational institutions through construction of boundary walls, razor wire coops and installation of CCTV cameras. In a statement issued here, the Minister directed the FDE to utilise the funds transparently, fulfilling all formalities on a fast track. He also issued directions to project engineering team of FDE to indicate further cost estimate of left over educational institutions without delay.
