A counter-terrorism department (CTD) official was shot dead by neighbours over an argument on Wednesday. Shami Roz told Shabqadar police his son Samiullah was on leave from duty and was thus at home. He added their neighbours Iftikhar, Abdullah and Irfan were constructing a wall over which his son had an argument with them. The three then allegedly gunned Samiullah down following a heated exchange. Police registered the case and arrested Irfan and Iftikhar. Further investigation is under way.
