'Fawad Khan to play Virat Kohli in Dhoni biopic'

Film is based on the story of MS Dhoni’s dramatic journey and the film will be released on October 22

Director Neeraj Pandey’s biopic on MS Dhoni has Sushant Singh Rajput playing the ace cricketer. But now the buzz doing the rounds is that several other actors have been roped in for playing some of the characters in the film. Rumour has it that Pakistani heart throb, Fawad Khan, will portray the role of Virat Kohli in the film, reported The Indian Express.

Telugu star Ram Charan Teja, John Abraham, Fawad Khan, Aftab Shivdasani and Alia Bhatt are some of the names that are making the rounds.

However, when Pandey was contacted for a confirmation, he said that he was not at liberty to make any comment. “I have signed a non-disclosure agreement and am not allowed to say anything,” he said.

'MS Dhoni - The Untold Story' is based on the story of the Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s dramatic journey and the film will be released on 22 October 2015.
