Targeted Attacks: MQM seeks operation against militants

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement demanded that an operation should be carried out against sectarian outfits and militants.

The party claimed that men from these groups were involved in killing their activists. “Nothing is being done against militants or those involved in sectarian killings,” said party leader Haider Abbas Rizvi at a press conference on Monday. On Sunday night, two party workers were gunned down. Two days earlier, two other activists were targeted. The party claims that they were killed by militants. Rizvi urged the prime minister, the governor of Sindh and Chief Minister of Sindh to take action against the killers.
