Dar also took into account the formation of a judicial commission, as requested by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to investigate into their rigging allgeations.
"The government is willing to form a judicial commission to probe the rigging allegations," he said.
"The judicial commission will be formed within the ambit of the constitution," Dar said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday.
In regard to the formation of the judicial commission, Dar said he had written a letter and sent an email to the PTI, which he will make available to the media.
"The letter contains a new definition of the scope of the work of the proposed judicial commission to probe the rigging allegations," the finance minister said.
"A new draft had been sent to PTI on January 20, as per the suggestions of the party during the latest round of talks," he said.
He said the judicial commission should be formed without delay, and that the remaining points could be sorted.
"It is time to sort out a lot of issues, because a lot of time has already been consumed," the minister said.

@Parvez: I think the State Bank should be abolished and all future decisions about monetary policy be taken in Islamabad! This will go a long way towards reducing wasteful government expenditure and cutting the budget deficit.
Shows the desperation of the govt when the Finance Minister announces 'give- aways' like interest rate cuts to win cheap brownie points with the general public! Little does he know that he looks a complete amateur and a fool!
If there was any doubt about how monetary policy was set that has now disappeared following this announcement. SBP has been reduced to the printing press of the Ministry of Finance.
SBP lost its autonomy on the day their loan ceiling to the govt crossed 60+ %....so, what autonomy are we talking about.
"Institutional" and "Provincial Autonomy," are words found only in dictionaries, Constitution, and text books. The PMLN and PPP, have proven without a shade of doubt, to be incapable of managerial and administrative prowess. They are always looking over their shoulders and have for protection, hordes of policemen, who should be policing the city. The discount rate cut is good news for the economy and the GoP must facilitate by ensuring less power cuts. Salams
Jo 'Dar' gaya wo 'Mar" gaya. This is the policy of I.Dar in dealing with the finances of Pakistan. He has not only undermined institutional autonomy of the State Bank but also warned the Governor that he is the BOSS. Poor show of the worst governance in the history of Pakistan. Go Nawaz Go.
In any other country this would be a crime. But this Islamic republic is run by 'anything goes' mantra. I bet most people wouldn't even notice.
State Bank is supposed to be fully autonomous body and does not report to Dar.
How can he criminally pre empt the Governor State bank and the Directors by making such an announcement actually dictating them what he desires.
Similar to NS announcing his victory within hours of polling deadline and instructing the ROs that he needs his desired results as planned
Salute to PMLn. Cut in discount rate will ensure interest rates in single digit and make our export oriented industries competitive. This will help business activity overall aswell.
The Finance Minister makes it clear that the State Bank has no autonomy.......and the SBP governor meekly accepts this position....WHY ?
So much for autonomy of State Bank of Pakistan The retiered government servants on the Board and other Board members should resign. This is a blight on face of SBP
Shame on you Dara sahab. Let the institutions evolve. I wish my people knew how much such small things matter. If he had made such in announcement in the US, he would've been roasted by the comedians. Let alone the press.
So now our State Bank is dictated by the Finance minister? So much for institutional autonomy.
So form it! Who's stoping you? And if you so innocent form it on pti demands. After all if you are not guilty, what are you afraid of? :)
