Poor visibility: 4 die, 414 injured in traffic accidents

LAHORE: Four people died and 414 received serious injuries in traffic accidents in the province on Sunday-Monday. According to Rescue 1122, there were a total of 453 road accidents in the 36 districts of the province during the 24 hours. Around 212 people sustained minor injuries and were provided first aid on the spot by Rescue 1122. According to the data, 217 drivers, four underage drivers, 63 pedestrians and 350 passengers were involved in the accidents. The statistics show 101 traffic accidents were reported in Lahore, 49 in Faisalabad and 28 accidents were reported from Gujranwala. Around 307 motorbikes, 53 auto rickshaws, 62 cars, 43 vans, 17 buses and 21 trucks were involved in accidents.
