QUETTA: A complete shutter-down strike was observed in Makran and Kalat division of Balochistan on Tuesday in response to the call of Baloch Students Organisation (BSO-Azad). The business activities in Turbat, Panjgur, Gwadar, Kalat, Mastung, Kharan, Awaran and other Baloch dominated areas came to a complete standstill. BSO-Azad gave strike call to pay tribute to the martyrs and missing Baloch political activists. “Baloch people are still subjected to enforced disappearances and torture in illegal torture cells,” said the spokesperson of BSO-Azad whose chairman Zahid Baloch is also missing.
