Targeted: Religious leader gunned down

The police have yet to ascertain the motive behind the incident

An Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) leader was shot dead near Power House Chowrangi, New Karachi.


Police officials said that 30-year-old Wasiuddin Shaikh was a rickshaw driver.

Two unidentified men on a motorcycle shot him when he was passing through the area in his rickshaw. He succumbed to his wounds at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The police have yet to ascertain the motive behind the incident.
