BAHAWALPUR: Police claimed on Saturday to have arrested a bootlegger from Girls College Road. Rizwan Khan, a resident of Bahawal Colony, was arrested allegedly for selling liquor in the area. Police said they seized 20 litres of liquor from him. Police also seized a furnace, brewing equipment and 200 litres of liquor from his residence after he confessed to their presence during an investigation. Separately, police arrested Sohne Khan, a bootlegger, at Bahawal Chowk. Police seized 20 litres of liquor from him. Separately, police arrested a man identified as Muhammad Azhar in Satellite Town for illegally possessing a firearm. Police also seized a pistol and four bullets from him. Police have registered cases against the men.
