During a party meeting, PML-Q Punjab president Chaudhry Pervez Elahi asked female members of his party as well as other women to refrain from joining the march, fearing brutal action from the government.
PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain also urged women who were planning to attend the march with their children to stay at home owing to the 'harsh summer'.
Elahi also said that the party would not tolerate any unjust actions or hurdles placed to obstruct their march and would fight back.
The party has also asked men joining the march to carry with them food supplies that would last them a week.

One cannot speak properly and the other cannot think properly these two stogies are trying to ride wrong horse who will return back to Canada very soon.
The March looks like a fun camping & friends gathering trip to me. Specially after the hurdles thrown-in by leaders in power... it actually give it a missing sense of adventure. I wish there is live telecast available from party website. Oh but they will be ban from news & use of Pak Air Waves, no? Because they are considered anti democracy and "wrong" public voice.
Pervez Elahi, please let the nation know who will be sponsoring this march?
60,000+ civilians have died in vain through this corrupt political system! just like PML Q has found a living soul, relatives of 60,000+ slain have found purpose! victims of injustice have found a voice, illiterate masses have found a direction, deprived poor have found a way out of poverty, masses have gained strength in the voice / movement of Qadri and Imran against this political robbery of our nation!
After having all their horses dead, PML-Q has at last found a living horse.
