Men asked to carry food supplies that will last a week with them during the march

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) has asked women not to participate in Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri’s revolution march to Islamabad, Express News reported on Monday.

During a party meeting, PML-Q Punjab president Chaudhry Pervez Elahi asked female members of his party as well as other women to refrain from joining the march, fearing brutal action from the government.

PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain also urged women who were planning to attend the march with their children to stay at home owing to the 'harsh summer'.

Elahi also said that the party would not tolerate any unjust actions or hurdles placed to obstruct their march and would fight back.

The party has also asked men joining the march to carry with them food supplies that would last them a week.

The March looks like a fun camping & friends gathering trip to me. Specially after the hurdles thrown-in by leaders in power... it actually give it a missing sense of adventure. I wish there is live telecast available from party website. Oh but they will be ban from news & use of Pak Air Waves, no? Because they are considered anti democracy and "wrong" public voice.
