LGH staff assigned special Eid duties

Vohra directed the MSO to address complaints on a priority basis.

Lahore General Hospital (LGH) Post-graduate Medical Institute Principal Dr Anjum Habib Vohra on Friday said that special duties had been assigned to medical staff during Eid holidays

Vohra was briefing journalists about the arrangements made for Eid at the hospital. He said leaves of for security guards and sanitary workers across all shifts had been cancelled. The principal said that the additional medical superintendent in-charge of administration and nursing had been told not to approve leave applications of subordinate officers during Eid. Vohra said that the Out-Patient Department would remain closed between July 29 and August 1. He said that OPD medical staff would be posted to other wards and departments for the 4-day period.  The principal ordered the administrators to remain vigilant and ensure adequate security.

Vohra also exhorted the Medical Social Officer to especially look after underprivileged patients. Vohra directed the MSO to address complaints on a priority basis.
