Rawalpindi Arts Council arranges display of artwork by its students to provide platform to new talent: press release

The Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) arranged a display of artwork by its students to provide a platform to the new talent on Thursday, said a press release.


Parliamentary Secretary for Culture Rana Muhammad Arshad inaugurated the exhibition. Students enrolled in courses held at RAC, including fashion designing, textile designing, stained glass, interior decoration, painting, flower making, glass painting, cooking and pottery decoration, displayed their work.

Arshad said professional education was necessary to end unemployment. He also distributed certificates among the participants at the end of exhibition. Earlier, RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed briefed participants about the cultural activities arranged by the council.
