Muslim bloc: D8 moot opens on Tuesday

The D-8 commissioners from member countries will take stock of progress made in high priority areas.

ISLAMABAD: The 35th session of the D-8 Commission will begin in Islamabad on Tuesday. Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi will open the meeting that will be attended by the commissioners of D-8 member states and the D-8 Secretary-General Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi. The D-8 commissioners from member countries Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey will take stock of progress made in high priority areas including in trade and travel facilitation and cooperation for social and economic uplift.
