Pile up : Two killed, 11 injured in collision

An army officer and his wife were killed and three of their family members were injured.

SHEIKHUPURA: An army officer and his wife were killed and three of their family members were injured in a pile-up on Faisalabad Road near Kachi Kothi Manawala on Saturday. Police said four cars collided with one another near Manawala in which Captain Rashid, who was posted in Lahore, and his wife were killed. His sister Tahira and her two children were injured. Rescue 1122 also shifted nine other injured people Nankana Sahib DHQ Hospital. The family of the deceased captain was going to Chakwal from Jaranwala.
