Two target killed in Karachi

One of the deceased may have had personal enmity.

KARACHI: Unidentified armed men shot dead two individuals in separate incidents of target killings in Karachi on Wednesday.

Thirty three-year-old Mehmood Ali, a resident of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) was fired upon by assailants riding a motorcycle. Ali suffered six bullet wounds, according to the police, and died on the spot.

The incident occurred on Khayaban-e-Sehar, Phase VII DHA within the limits of Gizri police station.

The body of the deceased was transferred to the Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

In a separate incident on Wednesday night armed assailants on a motorcycle shot dead 32-year-old Ghazanfar Mughal and injured 30-year-old Imran in Orangi Town near Urdu Chowk, within the limits of Mominabad police station. Imran was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
