DERA GHAZI KHAN:

Two boys died and their grandmother was injured in an explosion at their house in Basti Bolani in sub-district Taunsa.

Police sources said that the explosive material was kept in a sack in one of the rooms of the house that belongs to Asmatullah.

His sons Kaleemullah, aged 12, and Inayatullah, 8, tried to fiddle with the sack when it exploded with a loud bang, killing them on the spot. Their grandmother was taken to Taunsa Hopital by rescue workers and she is said to be in stable condition.

Police officials have taken the boys’ father into custody and an investigation is underway.
