The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) will organise the International Tent Pegging Championship and National Horse Show from February 16.
A university spokesman told the media on Saturday that the arrangements for the event had been finalised. He said seven teams from Australia, United Kingdom, United States, Germany, India, South Africa and Pakistan would participate in the tent pegging competition. “Last year, teams from the UK and South Africa took part in the championship held at the University.” He said this would be the first time that so many international teams would participate in the championship. He said hundreds of horse riders from across the country would compete in the horse show.
The event would go on till February 21.
