The Hyderabad police claimed that the 11 suspects in their custody have links with JSMM workers.

HYDERABAD:


The chief of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), Shafi Burfat, and other senior leaders of the banned outfit have been booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act.


They have been implicated for their alleged involvement in the multiple cracker attacks in Hyderabad on January 24, on the eve of the strike called by the party. The FIRs were registered late Saturday night on the complaint of the policemen in whose jurisdiction the crackers were thrown. Up to 44 suspects are reportedly in police custody. The Hyderabad police claimed that the 11 suspects in their custody have links with JSMM workers.
