Clothing label Braahtii, the brainchild of designer Huma Nassr, opened its doors to customers across the border on January 22. While she runs an outlet in Karachi, she has expanded her customer base mostly through her Facebook page and regular exhibitions both in Pakistan and outside.

With a wooden, rusty interior, the outlet, which is located at Greater Kailash’s M Block Market in south of Delhi, reflects a very Pakistani aura, according to IANS. “We have been running one of the most popular labels in Pakistan and have now stepped towards India. The appreciation and welcome in India has made me confident to launch my first store in New Delhi. The store expresses my designs and I am thankful to all my customers for encouraging and supporting me,” said Nassr.

Her launch collection titled Saadgii offers an array of colourful, embellished draped outfits. The vibrant colour palette will definitely suit Indian tastes unlike their Pakistani counterparts who enjoy minimal work. “The designs are easy to wear and anyone who has confidence can flaunt it,” added the designer.

It appears that anybody and everybody from the fashion industry have sworn to strengthen Indo-Pak ties. Here is to Aman ki Asha!

Its a proud moment to see, fellow Pakistanis making good name across the border and much nicer to see Indians to welcome them with such open arms.

Amazing.
