The body of PTI’s Lahore Women Wing President Neelam Ashraf’s son was found from the Ring Road on Saturday.


Model Town SP Tariq Aziz Sindhu said patrolling police found Nauman, 32, abandoned in his car with bullet injuries to his chest.


He said they found Rs12,000, a pistol and a mobile phone on him and informed his family.


The SP said mother of deceased told them that her son had gone to see Muhammad Waris, a friend, in Nishtar Colony.


He said the family had mentioned Muhammad Waris and his family as suspects.


He said Waris had been taken into custody. He said police believe that Nauman had been murdered.


He said the killers had possibly left the pistol in the car to make it look like a suicide.

It is hard to imagine that SP Police tried to distort the facts and gave the statement that it is a suicide case. Whereas there are evidences that it is a cold blooded murder of a young person over a dispute with business partners.
