KARACHI: Sindh lawmakers submitted a resolution in the provincial assembly, condemning the attack on Express Media offices in Karachi, Express News reported on Friday.

The parliamentarians called for stricter security of staff members.

An adjournment motion was also submitted earlier in the Sindh Assembly against the same attack.

Brazen assault

On December 2, at least four armed assailants riding motorbikes threw two home-made bombs and had fired at the entrance to the building.

A security guard, Faizan Ali, was injured as a result.

This was the second attack on the Express Media offices in Karachi in four months. The first attack took place on August 17 in broad daylight when a group of armed men opened fire at the main entrance.
