Load-shedding: CNG stations to be closed for three days

Gas stations to remain shut on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

KARACHI:


All CNG stations will be closed for three days during the upcoming week while the industrial sector will observe a one-day shutdown today [Sunday].


According to the gas load management schedule, all CNG stations in Sindh will remain closed for 24 hours from 8am Monday till 8am on Tuesday. Gas stations will then close for another 24 hours at 8am on December 4. The final shutdown will take place for 24 hours from 8am on December 6.


All industrial units in Sindh will observe a CNG shutdown for 24 hours from 7am Sunday till 7am Monday.


Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has warned that any gas stations not complying with this schedule will face severe consequences. SSGC has also advised stations to not provide CNG to vehicles which don’t have properly fitted cylinders.


Surveillance teams will be monitoring compliance and have been authorised to temporarily disconnect the gas supply of any station found violating the above schedule.
