Homicide: Man shot dead at home

Police says the family of the deceased told them that Ali had been receiving death threats over the phone.

BAHAWALPUR: A man was shot dead by three unidentified assailants in Bahawalpur on Wednesday. Police said the men had broken into Water and Power Development Authority official Asghar Ali’s house in Chak 162DB and opened fire at him. Police said the family of the deceased told them that Ali had been receiving death threats over the phone. The Saddar police SHO said the body had been sent for an autopsy.
