Indian authorities have handed over a list of 386 Pakistanis in Indian jails to the Pakistan High Commission at New Delhi.


There are 485 Pakistanis in Indian jails, according to the record of Pakistani prisoners maintained by the Foreign Ministry as well as Pakistan High Commission, New Delhi, the information from the media, NGOs applications and the relatives of prisoners. Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has taken up the matter with Indian authorities to clarify the discrepancy, said an official of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He said 30 Pakistani prisoners have completed their sentences but Indian authorities have not yet released them. Pakistan High Commission is taking up the issue with Indian authorities to secure their release.

We need to build trust between the two nations. All prisoners whose terms are over should be released by both countries.

For the shake of families..........release prisoners both countries........One can understand what the families would be going through..........
