Precautions: Officials review flood relief arrangements

As many as 4,150 people have been rescued.

BAHAWALPUR: District Coordination Officer Nabeel Javed, Khanpur Assistant Commissioner Abdul Ghaffar, District Emergency Officer Abdul Sattar and Rescue-1122 Tehsil In charge Adeel Ghaffar visited the Chachraan Bund on Tuesday to review flood preparations, Khanpur Rescue-1122 Representative Zahoor Ahmad told The Express Tribune.

He said that Sattar had pointed out potential danger zones and appreciated the efforts of Rescue-1122 workers. The Khanpur Rescue-1122 camp in Chachraan has been supervised by Sattar and Ghaffar since August 15. As many as 4,150 people have been rescued; 2,333 people have been vaccinated and 150 have been provided medical treatment.
