SIALKOT:

Hundreds of the people from Daska tehsil’s Kandan Sayyan and Mitraanwali villages on Monday protested against the district government.

They alleged that the government had failed to repair a Kandan Sayyan-Mitraanwali Road. The protesters chanted slogans demanding immediate repair of the road.

Protest leaders Ghulam Mustafa Aasi, Aftab Azhar Sayyan, Tariq Mehmood, Muhammad Bashir, and Muhammad Iqbal said that the road had not yet been repaired for over a decade. They urged the CM, the Gujranwala commissioner and the Sialkot DCO to look into the matter.
