ATTOCK: Efforts are afoot to deliver passports to applicants within the stipulated time. This was stated by Attock Passport Office Assistant Director Muhammad Ayaz on Tuesday. “This office is a facilitation centre and the system has been improved and now passports are being delivered to the passport-seekers within the stipulated time,” he said while talking to The Express Tribune here at his office. Ayaz said that staff at the passport office had been directed to be polite with those visiting the office to get passports. “The passport delivery counter remains open even on Saturdays to deliver passports from 8am to 5pm,” he said. Ayaz said that ‘facilitators’ (touts) were not allowed to enter the passport office.
