Kidnapped Protest for recovery of Loralai doctors

Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) and Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) organised a march from Civil Hospital Quetta to the Press Club on Tuesday, to protest the kidnapping of doctors from Loralai district.


Rally participants carried placards and banners inscribed with the demands for the safe recovery of the kidnapped medics, threatening a series of demonstrations if they were not immediately recovered by the authorities.

Five people, including three doctors, were kidnapped 42 days ago on June 11, namely MS DHQ Hospital Loralai Dr Muhammad Anwer Shabozai, Senior Medical Officer Dr Nasrullah Ghilzai, Dr Ayaz Ahmed, paramedic Farooq Ahmed and a driver Muhammad Anwer Khan. PMA Loralai General Secretary Rashid Nasir said  their kidnapping is causing mental anguish for the doctors’ community.
