Illicit travels: Heroin worth Rs40m found

SUKKUR: The Kashmore excise police found four kilogrammes of heroin from a passenger bus at Dera Morr checkpoint and arrested three people on Monday. During a routine check at Dera Morr, the excise police stopped a Karachi-bound passenger coach, coming from Peshawar, and found four kgs of heroin. They arrested Ahmed Ali, Syed Hakeem Shah and Fazal Wahab. Excise police inspector Abdul Hameed Bhugio told The Express Tribune that the heroin was found concealed in a speaker box and that a case has been registered at Kashmore Excise Police Station. He added that the price of the heroin was worth Rs40 billiion in the international market.
