LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court on Thursday freed 26 kiln workers, including several women and children, after they were recovered from the illegal detention of two kiln owners. A court-appointed bailiffs recovered 22 kiln workers who had been detained by a kiln owner in Gujranawala for four years. The rest were recovered from a kiln in Sialkot. The court released them and disposed of petitions seeking their recovery.
