Anti-Corruption Judge Anti-Corruption Fazal-e-Subhan accepted an application requesting pre-arrest bail for Iftikhar Ahmad, the chairman of Pharmedic pharmaceutical company.
Ahmad sought bail after the PHC ordered an FIR be registered against the high-ranking official. Ahmad’s pharmaceutical company was allegedly responsible for producing spurious hepatitis C vaccines.
The court also ordered the Anti-Corruption Establishment to produce all relevant records during the next case hearing.
