Rani Mukerji, Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan have never conformed to the slim, fit and skinny mantra that B-town babes seem to believe in. In fact, they’ve bagged decent roles despite their plump figures. But now, it seems like Mukerji will have to shed some extra pounds — not for herself but for her upcoming film Mardaani.
Physical trainer Samir Jaura is busy working with Mukerji for her new look in the film; he says that she needs to reduce 12kg to 13kg for the role.
“I’m training Rani for Mardaani and she will be losing around 12kg to 13kg for the film. We started training two weeks ago and she has already lost 3kg,” Jaura told IANS. In the film, Rani plays a police officer and the role demands her to be fit.
Jaura is also the one who is training Priyanka Chopra for the Mary Kom biopic, and he is also behind the macho and fit looks of Farhan Akhtar in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
