QUETTA: Female members of the Baloch National Movement on Saturday staged a demonstration outside the Quetta Press Club against the violation of human rights in Balochistan.

Speakers at the demonstration pointed out the silence of international human rights organisations over the brutalities in Balochistan and said it would further push the province to a state of anarchy. They called upon the international human rights organisations to play a role for the recovery of missing persons.

They also alleged that the state institutions were involved in the extra-judicial detention and killing of Baloch people and said that military operations were still in full swing in various areas of the province.
