Tragic incident: Three devotees drown in canal

The district government has imposed a ban on swimming but several people ignored it.

HYDERABAD: Three devotees who were in Sehwan Sharif ahead of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz’s urs drowned while swimming in the canals on Thursday.

The district government has imposed a ban on swimming but several people ignored it.

The bodies were identified as Shamshad Ahmed, 14, a resident of Okara, Shaukat Ali, 26, a resident of Lahore, while the third person has yet to be identified.
