Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA Irum Farooque was seen sketching during the session, while some of the members were reported to be distracted with their phones and laptops.
Members present in the Sindh Assembly were discussing budgetary concerns at the time Farooque was caught doodling.
The unaware MPA continued with her doodling for several minutes, despite the attention it had raised from members present.
Other MPAs could be seen talking amongst themselves or using their phones, reported Express News.
Earlier, a war of words had broken out between PPP MPA Sharmila Faruqi and PML-F's Nusrat Sehar Abbasi over the tax imposed on beauty parlours.

Is it really a doodling? it is just childish drawing. If this is what our MPAs are doing in Assembly, they should be better teaching KG students than sitting in august house. Incompetence at its peak.
What one will do when people sitting in the Assembly will start talking the nonsense?

It's great to finally see some creativity in the assembly! After I recently watched a TED talk by Sunni Brown titled 'Doodlers, unite!', I have learned to appreciate doodling so much more! Doodles are actually subconscious visual aids that help us retain information on a much deeper level. Doodle away Ms Farooque!

She seems to be a good artist.
Doodling while listening can help with remembering details, rather than implying that the mind is wandering as is the common perception.
